Transcript of Recent ComicCon Farscape Panel posted Saturday, July 31st, 2004 by Brent
The wonderful folks over at farnews have provided a transcript of the recent San Diego ComicCon Farscape panel for your enjoyment. This is the panel with Claudia Black and Ben Browder (with others) discussing Farscape in general and the mini-series in particular.
Audience question:
This is for Claudia and Ben: What is the most important thing you are taking away from Farscape?
Ben Browder:
Hope. That’s my favorite word from the series. Hope.
Woman from audience yells:
And leather pants!!
(Crowd loves that answer!!!)
Ben Browder:
Hope and leather….
Claudia Black:
Ben and leather pants, that is the best thing about my character. Definitely.

SciFiWire Article on Ben Browder posted Saturday, July 31st, 2004 by Brent
SciFiWire (SFC's on-line magazine) has a short article on Ben Browder and his return to Farscape in which he thanks the fans for the mini-series.
Browder credited the fans with bringing back the show, which ended with a cliffhanger at the end of season four. "It's all due to the continued fan participation in the process of getting it back on air," he said. "It wasn't as though it was one initial reaction, and it went away. They've actually sustained a campaign and sustained a community, which is based on the show. It's really interesting, the Internet community."

More Mini Spoilers posted Thursday, July 29th, 2004 by Brent
According to one con report from Ain't It Cool News, the following spoilerish line is uttered by a Scarran to Aeryn in the new (as yet unseen outside the con) trailer. This is in "Inviso-text." To see it, simply highlight the blank space below.

A Scarran says to Aeryn, "You will never be reunited with your baby."

So it seems some rumors are true.

Clip From PKWars Mini-series posted Sunday, July 25th, 2004 by Brent
Special thanks to "Christiarc" for pointing me to a bittorrent download (50MB) that contains 37 seconds from the movie... part of which is seen in the current teaser, but this is a complete sequence. It is J&A specific, and it offers a lot of insight into what happened, when it happened, and how our favorite couple react to it. Pay attention to the time code index to get a feel for when this will happen in the four hour (about 180 minutes actual program) story.

Please note that you will need a Bittorrent client, such as Shareaza, to download this. If you download the .torrent file, you will NOT be able to see the clip. You must run the .torrent file through a Bittorrent client.

In the near future, I may offer some screen shots and a summary from this clip for those who cannot or wish not download the entire thing.

More Info on Claudia's SG-1 Appearance posted Wednesday, July 21st, 2004 by Brent
The following two links contain minorish SG-1 spoilers, but offer some great info on the role Claudia will play. Assuming her character survives the episode, she could be back...

Second Report

Also, the TV Guide had a blurb about her appearance:

Farscape stormtrooper Claudia Black recently shed her black leather to play an ememy alien in an episode of Sci Fi Channel's Stargate SG-1 that will air in early 2005. Her character will make SG-1 hunk Michael Shanks [Dr. Jackson] see stars. "I rang [Farscape lover] Ben Browder and apologized that I had a new leading man. From the back, he could almost be Ben. So I can [blame] anything I do on a case of mistaken identity."

As the image on the left (from the episode) shows, she won't be hidden behind any sort of funky makeup, so that's good.

Farscape Fantasy has a wonderfully done video/audio analysis of the mini-series teaser that catches what is a blur to most of us. Go here for the links, but be warned that this page is full of details (spoilers?) about the upcoming two part movie.

Added Photos/Screenshots posted Tuesday, July 20th, 2004 by Brent
I've been updating the episode guide's screenshots and will add a couple more episodes tonight. I'm going in order, and am currently mid-way through season one.

I've also added a dozen or so more photos, including some GREAT promo shots of J&A for the new movie. I also removed a few duplicates. If you see any others, let me know their numbers, and I'll deal with 'em. Thanks!

Site Getting Back In Shape posted Sunday, July 18th, 2004 by Brent
Well, after a full weekend of work, I've got most of it back up. The gallery is all in place. The episode guide is in place, and I've added back all of Catherine Riche's wonderful synopses (through 3-21). I have added the screen caps for the Premiere and I, ET. The rest will come as I can grab them over the next few weeks. My goal is to have this site completely back up to snuff and complete, with all synopses and screen caps, before the mini-series in October.

The Sci-Fi Channel has officially announced the date on which the new Farscape mini-series will air. It will appear on U.S. cable and satellite equipped televisions the night of October 17, 2004. They've even update their website with a cool teaser and images. And, yes (no spoilers here unless you're pretty thick), J&A survived and Aeryn is definitely "with child."
